In recent weeks, we’ve extended that mission to our greater communities by donating to local chapters of Meals of Wheels, and supplying front line warriors with thousands of ‘Covid Care Kits’ . But we haven’t lost sight of our promise to deliver exceptional lifestyles to our future residents, either. If anything, we are more committed to our members than ever!
CONSTRUCTION MARCHES ON AT EVERY COMMUNITY
As of today, all of Vantage Point’s communities in development in Pennsylvania and Delaware remain under active construction. Thanks to the support of professional partners, as well as local and state governments, Vantage Point quickly secured waivers and exemptions so that our senior living construction may continue as an essential service to public works and infrastructure support.
Vantage Point Retirement Living is partnering with its general contractors on each job site to ensure that safety protocols are being met, including, but not limited to, social distancing (at least 6 feet), handwashing, and wellness checks at the start of each shift. These new protocols do mean that we may not be operating at full capacity, but we are proud and grateful to be continuing our efforts to deliver exceptional lifestyles to our future residents.
Left to right – Arcadia at Limerick Pointe (Limerick, PA) is putting the finishing touches on two model apartments! They are also continuing work on the exterior facade, with stonework going up next week. The Lodge at Truitt Homestead (Rehoboth Beach, DE) is moving along well, too. Teams are busy inside finishing up apartments, installing appliances, and working on the incredible common areas. Meadowcrest at Middletown (Middletown, DE) is officially “going vertical!” This is a big milestone for any community, and we are so happy to see the steel framing going up.
We are committed as a company, and as communities, to do our best so delays as a result of construction slowdowns are as minimal as possible. The real issue affecting us, especially for our communities that are closer to opening, is our ability to get Covid-19 under control locally and across the country.
WE’RE COMMITTED TO OUR FUTURE RESIDENTS AND THEIR SAFETY
Vantage Point and its communities are continuing to closely monitor Covid-19 and we are optimistic, as we know so many of you are, with recent indications that our social distancing efforts are paying off. But we are also keenly aware that it will take time for the communities in which we live and work to get back to normal. And because we serve the senior population, we have a responsibility to ensure that our communities are prepared to safely open in a post-Covid world. Rest assured, that day will come, and when it does, we can’t wait to celebrate with our members!
THE BEST TIME TO CONSIDER SENIOR LIVING IS NOW
In these times of social distancing and isolation, we’ve heard from many prospective residents who see the value in a community lifestyle… who see that the benefits of living in a community far outweigh the benefits of living alone at home.
In unexpected times like this, living in a community offers peace of mind that meals are available, healthcare is at your fingertips, and people are available to meet your needs when they arise. We recently talked about this with regional executive directors, Karen Garland and Dave Bolton. You can view the full video here.
We Remain Committed and Accessible to You
Though the way we connect may look a little different, we are still available to you in all the ways you’ve come to expect and more! For more information on Vantage Point Retirement Living, our communities, or our response to Covid-19, we’re here for you!
