Offering an Inclusive, Faith-Based Approach to Retirement Living
For many seniors, religious faith and values are an important part of their identity. A sense of community, support and fellowship creates a meaningful experience that helps a person throughout daily life. Arcadia at Limerick Pointe is proud to affiliate with St. Teresa of Calcutta Parish in ringing a unique, faith-inspired community to Western Montgomery County.
While Catholic and Christian traditions, customs and holidays set the pattern of life at Arcadia, we cherish and honor the religious, spiritual and cultural traditions of ALL members of our Arcadia family.

The Only Community with a Priest in Residence Program in the Region
Arcadia is home to a Priest in Residence, who resides at Arcadia and enjoys the same benefits its lifestyles provides just like all other residents. But they are so much more… Priests in Residence work closely with our activities and nursing staff to ensure the spiritual needs of residents as well as their families and loved ones, are being met.
And in addition to masses, confessions, and devotions and other group activities. He also offers pastoral care to residents. This program is meant to foster a resident’s sense of spiritual wellness while offering guidance and support throughout their daily lives.

Meet Father John Gibbons, Priest in Residence

“As the resident priest, I most often hear that the residents have a greater sense of joy and peace knowing that a priest is living at Arcadia, as opposed to just visiting. I try to make myself as available as possible to all the residents, Catholics and Non-Catholics. My goal is to be present for them and help them grow in their relationship with Christ. Although the program is new, I am very excited about how the residents have responded to the many spiritual offerings available to them.”

Levels of Care
Testimonials
My parents are doing well. The staff have been very kind and compassionate during their adjustment to Personal Care. The first couple days were hard but with any transition it takes time for everyone to become comfortable.
Daughter of Personal Care Residents in a Vantage Point Community
What attracted me initially was the no entry fee of $3 or $400,000 (or more)—just monthly rent! The welcoming gestures of the pre-construction parties solidified my choice. There was an obvious effort to demonstrate inclusivity and diversity. Once here, my expectations were exceeded. I discovered more activities than I could handle and finally opted for S+B (Strength & Balance) in the Fitness Center and Healthy Heart Cooking classes in the Multi- Purpose room.

It is with a grateful heart that I thank you for all you have done to welcome me to the “Lodge Family.” Everyone’s gift of friendship is a blessing. I will always remember your kindness an as a resident of this wonderful place, I, too will pass it on.
Ruth Z., Vantage Point Independent Living Resident
Having my dad leave our home after two years with us was one of the hardest decisions our family has had to make. It was a hard decision, but also the best decision we could have made for all of us. The community is beautiful, bright, and clean. Dad is surrounded by kind, friendly, and caring staff! Dad know calls Arcadia his home and for that we are grateful!
